On the road again...

So Tyler finally made home to stay on the weekend. However, with his new management position he is back on the road and will be home on the weekends. We are hoping that he will be able to stay around Medicine Hat for a few jobs and that way he can be home during the week.

I am counting down the days until summer holidays...only one more week left. I was working full-time for the month of June and it was tough without Tyler home. Anyways, we are still alive and can't wait for the days that we can sleep in and spend the whole morning in our pyjamas!
We are heading to Elkwater with friends for the July long weekend. They will be doing the camping thing and we will be staying at the cabin...Tyler is not much for tenting.

This past weekend my Aunty Verna and her friend Ray came to visit from Winnipeg. It was great seeing family from the East. Here are a few pics from the weekend.
Lately, Abbi has this crazy obsession with shoes. She is constantly taking all her shoes out of the basket and I am finding them everywhere in the house, including the laundry hamper. She loves flip flops and crocs the most. Tyler's crocs are quite big but she insists on wearing them around the house and is continually falling...oh well, one day she will learn.

Quick Update!

So it has been awhile since I have last blogged, but it has been crazy around here. Abbi and I were in Edmonton two weeks ago and then Calgary last weekend. Two weeks ago we stopped in Calgary over night before heading to Edmonton and we woke up to snow...lots of snow and just one week later we were back in Calgary and cooked because it was so hot out...that is Calgary for ya. Anyways, we had a blast seeing everyone and of course getting some shopping in!

Only 11 more days until Tyler is home. We have survived...however I don't think I am doing the greatest job at yard work. Mom and I plan to plant some bedding plants this weekend which I am hoping Tyler will be impressed by!

I am counting the days until summer. We don't have much for plans except for going to the cabin for a few weekends. Tyler accepted a manager position within Telus so he will be on the road quite a bit and will have to work around that.

Well I should get ready for tomorrow. Here are few pics from the last couple of weeks. I would have to say I am not the greatest at keeping up with recent pics!!

Isn't she the cutest!!!!!

Abbi and Carter...yes, he is 4 months younger. It will be Carter's first b-day this week!
